The activities of SINTERmat material engineering are divided into two axes :

  1. Study and design of solution "materials" adapted to the industry

  2. Methods of shaping sintered materials


This rapid sintering technology, which is reflected in the emergence of "fine and controlled microstructure materials", opens up immense prospects but induces significant risks. The safety and standardization aspects of powder use are the topical issues on which the scientific and industrial communities concentrate their efforts.


On the other hand, the processes of elaboration of the powders brought into play will be those developed in the laboratories of the Burgundy Region Franche-Comté like:

- hydrothermal synthesis of metal oxides under supercritical conditions,

- the mechanical grinding (very energetic) of the powders,

- the atomization of the powders,
